Porites australiensis is a species of cnidarians in the family Poritidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Porites australiensis form shallow marine sediments. Porites australiensis form marine reefs. Individuals can grow to 245 µm. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
