Favites abdita (Honeycomb Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Merulinidae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Honeycomb Coral form shallow marine sediments. Honeycomb Coral form marine reefs. Individuals can grow to 394 µm. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They are sessile animals.
