Lobactis scutaria (Lamarck 1801)

Lobactis scutaria is a species of cnidarians in the family Fungiidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Lobactis scutaria form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 83.6 µm. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They have no parental care. They are sessile animals.
