Cycloseris explanulata is a species of cnidarians in the family Fungiidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Cycloseris explanulata form shallow marine sediments. They are solitary. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
