Stephanocoenia intersepta (Blushing Star Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Astrocoeniidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Blushing Star Coral form shallow marine sediments. Blushing Star Coral form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They have no parental care. They are sessile animals.
