The small snakelocks anemone is a sea anemone with long, thin tentacles that have a gray-black band down the middle. The foot is often found with a banded pattern. Sometimes you can clearly distinguish white tentacles. These are special fighting tentacles which the anemone uses to keep away competitors and enemies.
