Launaea intybacea (Jacq.) Beauv.

Launaea intybacea (Achicoria Azul) is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Ethiopia, US Minor Outlying Islands, Gambia, Mauritania, Ghana, Sudan, Tanzania, Eritrea, Kenya, Namibia, Niger, Puerto Rico, Cape Verde, Angola, Senegal, South Africa, Botswana, U.S. Virgin Islands, Australia, Mozambique, and Somalia. They have broad leaves.
