Gigantidas tangaroa is a species of mussels in the family Marine Mussels. Adult Gigantidas tangaroa form marine reefs. Dead Gigantidas tangaroa form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 199.6 mm. They have sexual reproduction.
