Asplenium (Spleenwort) is a genus of shrub in the family spleenworts. They are native to Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Alaska, Eastern North America, Canada, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Greenland, Hawaii, and The Contiguous United States. They have alternation of generations.
