Sphagnum palustre (Prairie Sphagnum Moss) is a species of woody plants in the family Sphagnaceae. They are native to Cerrado, Santa Catarina, Amapá, Rio De Janeiro, Amazônia, Mata Atlântica, RondôNia, Roraima, Bahia, Pampa, SãO Paulo, Ceará, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Mato Grosso Do Sul, ParaíBa, Sergipe, North America, Pantanal, Espirito Santo, Pará, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, and GoiáS.
