Geranium deltoideum Rydberg, sp. nov Perennial, the caudex branched. Stems ascending or spreading, 1-3 dm. long, branched, finely pubescent with retrorse-appressed hairs ; leaf-blades triangular-hastate, minutely pubescent above, more pubescent and pale beneath, long-petioled, 3-lobed, the divisions coarsely toothed ; pedicels closely pubescent with retrorse rather appressed glandless hairs and spreading gland-tipped hairs; sepals awn-tipped, the outer ones 7.5-S.5 mm. long, the bodies elliptic-ovate, sparingly long-ciliate and minutely pubescent on the back ; petals white, 17-19 mm. long, emarginate at the apex; style-column 18-21 mm. long, sparingly glandular-pubescent ; carpel-bodies 4 mm. long, sparingly hirsute.
Type collected at San Ram6n. Duran&ro, Mexico, April 21 to May IS, 1906, B. Palmer 192. Distribution : Known only from the tvpe locality.
