Pteropus howensis Troughton 1931

Pteropus howensis (Ontong Java Flying Fox) is a species of bats in the family Old World fruit bats. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are crepuscular. Individuals can grow to 184.64 mm. They rely on flight to move around.
