Prolemur simus (Greater Bamboo Lemur) is a species of primates in the family true lemurs. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to Ethiopia. They are crepuscular omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 144 months and can grow to 370 mm. They have parental care (female provides care).
