Rucervus eldii (Eld’s Deer) is a species of mammals in the family Cervidae. They are listed in cites appendix i. They are native to the Palearctic and Asia. They are solitary, nocturnal herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 232.8 months and can grow to 1650 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care and paternal care). They rely on running to move around.
