Emarginula rosea is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Fissurellidae, the keyhole limpets.[2]

Description

The size of the shell attains 4.5 mm.

Distribution

TYhis marine species occurs in the Eastern Atlantic, from the British Isles to Morocco, nearshore to ca. 200 m; in the Mediterranean, mostly 50-200 m.

Diagnosis

Shell up to 5 mm, with oval contour and elevated profile, strongly curled backwards with the apex overhanging posterior margin. Sculpture of thick radial ribs, narrower than the interspaces, forming a coarse lattice with strong commarginal cords; the broader interspaces on the sides with a weak radial rib intercalated. Colour white.
