"The size and shape of the teeth on the antero-lateral edge are not constant. This is probably the reason why the descriptions of different writers do not quite agree. Alcock says that the propodite of the last leg has its hinder edge smooth. It is not serrate, but it bears 4 or 5 minute curved spines, indicated in de Haan's figure of the female (Borradaile, 1902; p. 200-1)."
