Papio papio (Guinea Baboon) is a species of primates in the family Old World monkeys. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are native to Ethiopia. They are diurnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 480 months and can grow to 1430 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (paternal care and female provides care).
