Test variously shaped; consisting either of straight, occasionally branched shaft with numerous short side branches, or forming dense clump. Fine morphology dominated by bead-like appearance arising from frequent, extremely short side branches, often constricted at base, or from frequent constriction of main tubules at regular short intervals.
