Plants 5-40 cm tall. Stem glabrous; lower branches decumbent. Leaves pinnatisect; segments cuneate. Involucre of 5-7 linear, glabrous to pubescent bracts. Rays 5-12, up to 3 cm long, glabrous. Involucel of 5-7 lanceolate to oval, broadly white margined bractlets, surface glabrous, margin ciliate, apex acute to acuminate. Petals white to rose coloured. Fruit ovoid, c. 1 mm long, densely hairy; hairs white, 1-1.5 mm long, glochidiate; 1 vitta under each secondary ridge.
