Distribution

The range of this species extends from the central plains of United States and Canada to the west coast. This species is found in approximately the south two thirds of Alberta along the western margin.

General Description

Adults of this species are distinguished from those of related species by the presence of small groups of hairs in the inner margin of each eye. Elytral markings are similar to those of Cicindela duodecimguttata and C. repanda. Specimens collected in the southwest of the province are C. o. oregona X C. o. guttifera, and the more northern ones are C. o. guttifera.
