Perennials 3-8 cm tall, with short slender stolons. Stems ascending to erect, simple or few branched, glabrous. Petiole tube 1-1.5 mm; leaf blade elliptic toward stem base but others ovate, 4-7 × 3-5 mm, larger toward stem apex, abaxially glabrous, adaxially densely and minutely papillate, base rounded to cordate, apex acute to obtuse; veins 1-3, distinct, slender. Basal leaves withered at anthesis. Stem leaves spreading, much shorter than internodes. Flowers 1 to few. Pedicel 5-6 mm, glabrous. Calyx obconic, 4.5-5.5 mm; lobes filiform to filiform-subulate, 2.5-3 mm, base 1-1.5 mm wide, margin narrowly membranous, apex acuminate, midvein prominent. Corolla white or pale blue, tubular-campanulate to obconic, (1-)1.2-1.5 cm; lobes ovate, 2-2.5 × 2.5-3 mm, margin entire, apex obtuse; plicae ovate, 2-2.5 × 3-4 mm, margin filiform fringed. Stamens inserted at basal part of corolla tube, equal; filaments 4-5 mm; anthers ellipsoid, 0.8-1 mm. Ovary ellipsoid, 2-2.5 mm; gynophore 4.5-6.5 mm, slender. Style 0.7-1.2 mm; stigma lobes oblong. Fl. Jul-Sep.
