Viola riviniana (Common Dog Violet) is a species of perennial herb in the family Violaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by scotch argus, Osmia aurulenta, and Lasioglossum laevigatum. Individuals can grow to 0.12 m.
