Metatheria (Marsupial Mammals) is an infraclass of mammals. There are 700 species of Marsupial Mammals, in 268 genera and 60 families. This infraclass has been around since the aptian age. It includes groups like Marsupials, Glasbiidae, and Pucadelphydae. They are omnivores. Reproduction is viviparous.
