TYPE SPECIES: Spengelomenia bathybia Heath, 1912.

Epidermal papillae present. Mouth within common atrio-buccal cavity Radula present. Pre-radular outlet of foregut glandular organs into pouch with cone; midgut without constrictions. Secondary genital opening unpaired; without copulatory stylets. Without dorsoterminal sense organ. With respiratory organs.”
