Philodendron xanadu Croat, Mayo & J. Boos. Araceae. CN: Philodendron 'Xanadu', Philodendron 'Winterbourn', Philodendron 'Aussie'. Philodendron xanadu is thought to have originated in southeastern Brazil and is capable of growing much larger than the tissue cultured specimens commonly available all over the world. Some evidence now indicates the chemical process used to tissue culture (clone) the species appears to cause a specimen not to reach its full potential and size.
