Acrocomia aculeata (Yellow Coconut) is a species of tree in the family palms. They are native to Pará, Piauí, SãO Paulo, Ceará, Rio De Janeiro, Distrito Federal, Maranhao, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, GoiáS, Bahia, Cerrado, and Mata Atlântica. Flowers are visited by Trigona silvestriana. Individuals can grow to 12 m.
