Neolamprologus ventralis is a species of cichlid endemic to Lake Tanganyika. This species can reach a length of 8.0 centimetres (3.1 in) TL. This species can also be found in the aquarium trade.^[1]

Neolamprologus ventralis is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de cichliden (Cichlidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1995 door Büscher.

腹新亮麗鯛，為輻鰭魚綱鱸形目隆頭魚亞目慈鯛科的其中一種，分布於非洲剛果共和國淡水流域，體長可達8公分，棲息在中底層水域，生活習性不明。
