Rhamdia nicaraguensis (Günther 1864)

Lives in rivers and creeks between 20 and 1160 m elevation in currents of low to moderate velocity, with stony bottoms and substrata of sand and mud. Feeds mainly on aquatic insects, seeds and small fish (Ref. 36880).
