Borbo holtzii (Plotz)
Hesperia holtzii Plotz, 1883: 44 (Angola). =Pamphila aures Mabille, 1883: 64 (East Africa). = Baoris cana Lathy, 1901: 35; pi. 3, fig. 8 (Zomba). =Baoris caesia Gaede, 1917: 30 (Tanganyika). = Baoris aequalis Gaede, 1917: 31 (Tanganyika). =Pelopidas rougeoti Picard, 1949: 151 (Gabon).
B. holtzii occurs in the region bounded by Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanganyika and South Africa (Evans, 1937: 185).
A single Liberian specimen is placed here provisionally owing to its battered condition. It bears the following data: Harbel, 1 9 , XI (Fox).
Other specimens in Carnegie Museum are from Angola, Rhodesia and Kenya.
