Geranium trilophum is a pubescent annual plant that reaches up to 10-25 cm long with erect to ascending stems. Leaves are 5-10 cm palmatipartite with 5-7- divided lobes. Flowers are pink with a purple center and arranged in 2-flowered inflorescences. Mericarps are 4-5 mm, smooth and beaked with 3 keels or wings.
