Hylobates lar (White Handed Gibbon) is a species of primates in the family gibbons. They are listed as endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to Asia. They are diurnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 480 months and can grow to 545 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care).
