Distribution

The range of this subspecies extends from the central plain of United States and Canada westward to the Rocky Mountains. This subspecies is mainly found in the south half of Alberta with a couple of scattered localities in the northern half.

General Description

Adults of this species appear similar to those of Cicindela formosa but are distuinguished by their smaller size, and long, straight humeral lunule.
