Pouteria procera is a species of tree in the family Sapotaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Bahia, Acre (Brazil), Pará, Rio De Janeiro, Amazônia, Mata Atlântica, Espirito Santo, Amapá, Maranhao, and RondôNia. They have simple, broad leaves and berries. Individuals can grow to 45 m.
