Chrysophyllum argenteum (Bastard Redwood) is a species of tree in the family Sapotaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pará, Amazônia, Acre (Brazil), Puerto Rico, Roraima, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Amapá. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 18 m.
