They are native to Pernambuco, Rio Grande Do Sul, GoiáS, SãO Paulo, ParaíBa, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Cerrado, U.S. Virgin Islands, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Rio De Janeiro, The Contiguous United States, and Puerto Rico. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.066 m.
