Eriophorum vaginatum (Hare's Tail Cottongrass) is a species of perennial grass in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to United States, Greenland, Western North America, Alaska, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Canada, North America, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.39 m.
