Holcus lanatus is a species of perennial grass in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Hawaiian Islands and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Flowers are visited by Leptopterna dolabrata. Individuals can grow to 3.3 feet.
