Poa pratensis (Smooth Meadow Grass) is a species of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They are native to Romania, Canada, Belarus, India, Greenland, China, Austria, United Kingdom, North America, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Lebanon, Germany, Lithuania, Western North America, Czech Republic, Yugoslavia, Svalbard And Jan Mayen, Afghanistan, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Armenia, Mongolia, Albania, Poland, Syria, Turkey, France, Cyprus, Georgia, Spain, Finland, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, Latvia, Norway, Estonia, Pakistan, Ireland, Alaska, Bulgaria, Iran, Russia, The Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, Eastern North America, Portugal, Greece, The Contiguous United States, and Moldova. They have yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Syrphid fly, Wheat Stem Maggot, Small Cuckoo Nomad Bee, and Ladder-backed Hover Fly. Individuals can grow to 73.5 cm.
