Paspalum distichum (Buffalo Quick Paspalum) is a species of perennial grass in the family True grasses. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Puerto Rico, the contiguous United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, United States, eastern north america, western north america, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Bahia, Paraná, Cerrado, Minas Gerais, Pará, Pantanal, Amazônia, Pampa, Rio Grande do Sul, Mata Atlântica, Sergipe, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Pernambuco. Buffalo Quick Paspalum has simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Flowers are visited by Lipotriches brachysoma (Schletterer 1891). Buffalo Quick Paspalum is a photoautotroph.
