Paspalum notatum (Bahia Grass) is a species of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They are native to GoiáS, Cerrado, Eastern North America, Acre (Brazil), Amazônia, Rio Grande Do Sul, Santa Catarina, Amapá, Pampa, Puerto Rico, Pará, Distrito Federal, Minas Gerais, SãO Paulo, Espirito Santo, U.S. Virgin Islands, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Bahia, Mata Atlântica, The Contiguous United States, Rio De Janeiro, Mato Grosso, and Paraná. Flowers are visited by Melissodes bimaculatus, Bombus medius, Common Eastern Bumblebee, and Agapostemon splendens. Individuals can grow to 56 cm.
