Randia armata is a species of shrub in the family Rubiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to GoiáS, Piauí, Rio De Janeiro, Bahia, Caatinga, Acre (Brazil), Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, SãO Paulo, Alagoas, ParaíBa, Paraná, AmazôNia, Pará, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Norte, Tocantins, Distrito Federal, Mata Atlântica, Sergipe, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Espirito Santo, Ceará, Mato Grosso, Roraima, Maranhao, Rio Grande Do Sul, Cerrado, and RondôNia. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 13 m.
