Elaeis guineensis (African Oil Palm) is a species of tree in the family palms. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Africa. They have compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Lasioglossum albobarbatum, Lasioglossum duponti, Braunsapis bouyssoui, and European honey bee. Individuals can grow to 30 m.
