Plants 5-15 cm tall. Bulb ovoid, 1-2 cm broad, brown; coats reticulate fibrous. Leaves 3-4, filiform, glabrous, 0.5-1 mm broad, fistular, coiled or flexuous, longer than the scape. Scapes 4-10 cm long. Umbels 3-5 cm across. Flowers laxly arranged. Perigonium narrowly campanulate. Tepals pink to purple, ovate, 6-7 mm long, acute. Filaments about 3/4 the length of the tepals, entire, inner broader, connate at the base. Stigma capitate.
