Shrubs or small trees with simple indumentum. Leaves alternate, simple. Inflorescences unisexual or bisexual, axillary. Male flowers: calyx closed in bud, valvate; petals 0; stamens numerous. Female flowers: sepals 5-6; petals 0; styles 3, connate at base. Fruits 3-lobed. Seeds spherical.

Argomuellera es un género perteneciente a la familia de las euforbiáceas de plantas nativas de Tailandia, Malasia y Nueva Guinea. Comprende 14 especies descritas y de estas, solo 11 aceptadas.[2]​

Taxonomía

El género fue descrito por Ferdinand Albin Pax y publicado en Annales des Sciences Naturelles; Botanique, série 4 9: 198. 1858.[3]​ La especie tipo es: Angostylis longifolia
