Morphology

Body relatively slender. Corona with conspicuous styli. Rostrum rounded anteriorly, slightly decurved. Toes slender, tapering to ± blunt tip, slightly decurved ventrally, laterally ± S-shaped, in dorsal view out curved. Eyespots absent.

Trophi asymmetrical. Rami broad, outer margins ± parallel-sided, inner margins in contact for about 2/3 their length; median opening small, lens-shaped; apical teeth stout, hook-shaped; right ramus with large triangular alula, left ramus without alula. Fulcrum short, c. 2/3 ramus length. Right uncus bifurcate, left uncus simple. Manubria long, asymmetrical, straight, clubbed anteriorly, posterior end slightly incurved.
