Chamaeleo zeylanicus (Asian Chameleon) is a species of Squamata in the family chameleons. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are found in the indo-malayan realm. They are diurnal. They have sexual reproduction. They rely on running to move around.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
