Liocrobyla kumatai is a moth of the family Gracillariidae. It is known from Japan, the Russian Far East[1] and Korea.[2]
The larvae feed on Desmodium and Lespedeza species, including Lespedeza bicolor. They mine the leaves of their host plant.

Liocrobyla kumatai is een vlinder uit de familie van de mineermotten (Gracillariidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1982 door Kuroko.[1]
