Garra ethelwynnae Menon 1958

Diagnosis: Garra ethelwynnae is a Garra species with smooth snout, two pairs of barbels and the back, chest and belly naked (Ref. 96444). There are 29 to 30 scales on the lateral line (Ref. 58532). The vent is situated very near the origin of the anal fin (Ref. 96444).

Garra ethelwynnae is a species of ray-finned fish in the genus Garra which is known only from Eritrea. The specific name of this fish honours the British ichthyologist Ethelwynn Trewavas (1900-1993).
