Poropuntius exiguus is a species of ray-finned fish in the genus Poropuntius that is endemic to Lake Erhai in China.^[2] It has not been recorded since the 1970s and it is possibly extinct.^[2]

Poropuntius exiguus is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de eigenlijke karpers (Cyprinidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1977 door Wu & Lin.

油四鬚鲃（学名：Poropuntius exiguus）为鲤科光唇魚屬(吻孔鲃属)的鱼类，俗名油鱼。僅分布于中国雲南洱海(喜洲及大理市)，主要栖息于湖岸岩洞处水体。该物种的模式产地在喜洲洱海。^[1][2]
