Viola curtisiae (montane ivyleaf violet) collected from the Sandbanks Tier, Tasmania. Previously considered an endemic subspecies of Viola hederacea this plant has recently been recognised as a distinct species and occurs in Victoria as well as Tasmania.
Seed sample of Pomaderris elliptica (Yellow Dogwood). Mature seeds are typically very dark brown to black. Immature or infested seeds are typically pale brown. White appendage is an elaiosome.
